Cooking course
Celebrating Ithaca's food heritage
Here at Myrtia, we want to share our passion and knowledge of the food heritage of the Ionian Islands.
Follow us on our journey, discovering, creating and reliving the simplicity and taste of the old way.
Together we will celebrate and revive Ithaca's traditional cooking vessel the “Tserepa”, using an open fire and seasonal ingredients.
Our course begins with a welcoming drink, our homemade Myrtleberryade or Lemonade.
At Myrtia we will gather a selection of herbs from our garden, you will make from scratch Greek phyllo pastry and bake a traditional pie on the open fire, create a dish to cook under the “Tserepa” and after we will demonstrate a local fish speciality.
